Face Afrikana Bespoke Service - Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Face Afrikana's bespoke service! By using our services to create a custom-made piece, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully to understand your rights and obligations.
1. Service Overview
Face Afrikana’s bespoke service offers clients custom-made garments, crafted to fit their unique style and preferences. Our bespoke service involves consultations, design creation, material selection, and garment production, ensuring that each piece reflects the client’s vision and our dedication to quality.
2. Consultation and Design Process
2.1 Initial Consultation
Upon booking our bespoke service, we will schedule an initial consultation to discuss your design preferences, style inspirations, and any specific requirements. This may include virtual or in-person meetings, depending on availability and location.
2.2 Design Approval
Following the consultation, our design team will provide sketches or design options based on your preferences. You will have the opportunity to review and request adjustments to the design. Final approval from the client is required before production begins.
3. **Measurements and Fittings
3.1 Measurements
Accurate measurements are essential for creating a well-fitting bespoke piece. Measurements can be taken in person or provided by the client following our measurement guidelines. Face Afrikana is not responsible for inaccurate fit resulting from incorrect measurements provided by the client.
3.2 Fittings
For local clients, we offer one or more fittings during the production process to ensure the best possible fit. Additional adjustments or fittings requested by the client may incur additional charges.
4. Materials and Fabrics
4.1 Material Selection
We will present a selection of materials, fabrics, and color options for your piece. Certain materials may be subject to availability; if a chosen material is unavailable, we will work with you to find a suitable alternative.
4.2 Material Limitations
Face Afrikana is committed to sourcing high-quality materials; however, natural variations in texture, color, and appearance may occur. Such variations are normal and should not be considered defects.
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 Pricing
Pricing for each bespoke piece is determined based on design complexity, material choice, labor, and additional customizations. We will provide a detailed price estimate before design approval.
5.2 Payment Schedule
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total estimated cost is required to commence the design and production process.
The remaining balance must be paid in full upon completion of the garment and prior to delivery or pickup.
5.3 Additional Costs
Any changes requested after design approval may incur additional costs, which will be discussed and agreed upon in advance.
6. Production Time and Delivery
6.1 Production Timeline
Production times vary depending on design complexity and material availability. Estimated timelines will be provided after the initial consultation. While we strive to meet all deadlines, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. We will communicate any potential delays to the client promptly.
6.2 Delivery
Clients may choose to pick up their finished garment or have it delivered. Shipping or delivery costs are the responsibility of the client and will be discussed and confirmed before shipment.
7. Returns, Cancellations, and Modifications
7.1 Cancellations
The initial deposit is non-refundable. If you decide to cancel your order after production has begun, additional cancellation fees may apply to cover labor and material costs.
7.2 Returns
Due to the custom-made nature of our bespoke pieces, Face Afrikana does not accept returns or refunds on bespoke items.
7.3 Modifications
Minor modifications may be made during fittings. For additional modifications after the final fitting or garment completion, extra fees may apply.
8. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate measurements if taken remotely.
- Being available for scheduled fittings and consultations.
